Cherish Family Time!

Happy to live in Australia- Land down Under. I learned a few things during our trip to Maroubra Beach on Australia Day :D

1. They were being serious when they said to “Slip, slop, slap” 2. Sunscreen is not neatly placed on a store shelf for decoration 3. You’ll even get burnt when the sky is full of clouds 4. Never play touch football with a bunch of boys (Brothers&cousins) it can get eal personal when they do not win lol 5. You can always stuff your face with fruits at the beach :D 6. When playing Volleyball BEWARE of on duty police who have no co-ordination skills whatsoever!

Final Point :D Always and I mean ALWAS enjoy the time you spend with Family because you just never know what will ever happen to them.

While we were at the beach my Father had shared sad news of the death of his Friends Wife. Dad and he had both finished work on Australia day. As his friend returned home he found his wife laying on the floor. The plans were for him to finish work, his wife had prepared everything for them and thier son to celeberate Australia Day with Friends… Such a tragedy. It’s sad how in an instant someones world can come to an end and so I challeneged myself to cherish every breathing moment with my Family.

Make an effort to say “I love you” and show it… Embrace trials also and know that the Savior knows exactly how you feel. You are never alone.

♥How beautiful a day can be When kindness touches it - George Ellistondnesday

Such a beautiful day it was today. I woke up on the couch and had a little ‘where am I moment’ Breakfast was four pieces of toast smotherd with butter. I caught bus to school knowing very well that it will be my last year to ever have to travel on it.

I attended a year meeting focusing on three imprtant things. Formal, Practice papers and… well I don’t really remember what the last issue was ? Everything ran smoothly, unlike the butter on my toast ! Study at the library was ‘extremely helpful’ .

Also my younger brother recieved an Academic award and as a celebration we had dinner at ‘Uncle Buck’s’ the food was so delicous :D Mum shouted us tonight which was neat >. I ♥ MUM so much, she’s such a caring person. * note I didnt just say that because she payed for dinner* Five years ago when she was called as a Relief Society President for the ward I learnt that I had to now share her with Five hundred other people which makes me grateful when I get just a small moment with her :)

Congrats to my little brother for a great achievement and thanks Mum for dinner. Today I have been touched by the very Kindess I have learned to give from people who I love most dearly.

♥ Salt Lake City Utah Trip

Every now and then I will re-open the days I have once already lived and bring back all the most precious memories that I have written in my Journal. Today will mark my first ‘Back-in-time-entry’

My trip to Salt Lake City Utah was one of the best trips ever! Everything about it was Beautiful. It was there where I first ate food from ‘Panda Express’. I instantly fell in ♥ love with the Ice Cream from Icebergs :) From Ensign Peak to Temple Square and Boondocks it left me speechless. I had to pinch myself everytime I had one of those ‘I can’t believe I’m really here’ moments’ which was in all honesty 99.9% of the time. I attended my first cousins wedding and met the rest of my Mum’s side of the Family that I had not yet met. Offcourse this was my second time there. I was very young on my first trip and though my memory of it has vanished I still feel in some way that because the given situation of the passing away of my Papa Brunt some familiar feelings were present.

Meeting my Family was the BEST PART of the trip. Like icing on a cake. I built bonds with each individual which I will cherish for the rest of my life.

The photo above includes Journal entries and letters family members from Utah had written to me. One fancy one was the One Dollar Bill which if you look closer has a letter written on the border line * warning, you may hit your nose on the computer looking at it * SUPER CUTE RIGHT :D Family love indeed. Another Is my boondocks ticket, wristband and Token coin which I kept in my journal since the trip I remembered that vivdly because all kids in our family were together with no parents to supervise us haha *

I really do miss it. So hopefully one day soon I will return to SLC Utah to continue a beautiful Journey that was left unsealed. Who knows that one day may be real soon.
